The mission of Guided Wave Analysis LLC (GWA) is to spread Guided Wave Testing (GWT) technology worldwide through technical writing, training, consulting, renting and selling GWT equipment, and special inspection servicing. We are a leader in field application and training of guided wave testing. We have lots of experience in field testing, training, consulting, and research and development of GWT technology. We use magnetostrictive sensor (MsS) system for generating and detecting ultrasonic guided waves in pipeline.

MsS Guided Wave Technology

The MsS (magnetostrictive sensor) technology was developed by the Southwest Research Institute® (SwRI®), a Texas nonprofit corporation. GWA sells MsS Systems to NDT service companies, research institutes, and universities. We support these clients through consulting, supplying of accessories, personnel training, demonstrations, and on-site training and field testing services. Experience and knowledge obtained from client support and field testing are used for upgrading MsS technology through research and development in the Sensor Systems and NDE Department at SwRI®.
